Maintain your Garden Fountain and Avoid Cracking

Have you ever experienced an outdoor water fountain emergency? Here is a fast tip to help you properly maintain your garden fountains, and keep them running to their fullest potential all year round! One of the major problems facing out water fountains owners is cracking. This problem is most apparent with cast stone or concrete fountains, though it occasionally happens to metal and wood outdoor fountains as well. This problem often occurs because the basin of an outdoor water fountain can’t always handle the stress of cold, water-freezing climates. If you live in a region prone to freezing temperatures, either remove the water from the basin during the cold months or keep your fountain running at all times; this will deter freezing, and in turn, cracking.
